Women’s Health Acupuncture on the Gold Coast
“Tending to the heart of women’s hormone health”
Women's health is never just about one symptom.
Your cycle, hormones, energy, digestion, sleep, stress, mood and reproductive health can all influence the way you feel in your body. And sometimes, when something doesn't feel right, it can be incredibly frustrating trying to understand why.
At Rachel Fitzpatrick Acupuncture, I work with women throughout all different stages of life, offering acupuncture and Chinese medicine care that is personalised to you, your health history and what is happening in your body right now.
My clinic is in Paradise Point on the Gold Coast, where I work predominantly with women's health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and stress-related concerns.
Whether you're dealing with painful periods, an irregular cycle, PCOS, endometriosis, fertility challenges, pregnancy symptoms or the changes that come with peri-menopause and menopause, my approach is about looking at the whole picture rather than treating you as a list of symptoms.

Menstrual health & hormone Health
Your menstrual cycle can tell us a lot about what is happening in your body.
If your periods are painful, heavy, irregular, unpredictable or accompanied by significant PMS symptoms, it may be worth taking a closer look at what is going on.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can be used as part of an individualised approach to menstrual and reproductive health, alongside appropriate medical care where needed.
We may look at your cycle, symptoms, stress levels, sleep, digestion, energy and overall well being rather than focusing on one symptom in isolation.

PCOS/PMOS
Living with PCOS can affect far more than your menstrual cycle.
Irregular periods, changes in ovulation, acne, unwanted hair growth, metabolic health, fertility and emotional well being are all a part of the big picture.
My approach to PCOS is personalised to you and your unique story. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine may be used alongside your existing healthcare to support your overall well being, cycle health and the symptoms that matter most to you.

Endometriosis
Endometriosis can have a significant impact on everyday life, particularly when pain, heavy periods, fatigue or fertility concerns are involved.
Acupuncture can be considered as a complementary therapy alongside medical management, with treatment tailored to your symptoms and individual circumstances.
My aim is not to replace your medical care, but to provide another layer of support while we work together on your overall health and well being.

Treatment is always adapted to your stage of pregnancy, your symptoms and your individual circumstances.

Postpartum
The postpartum period is a huge transition.
You're recovering from birth while adjusting to life with a newborn, often while running on very little sleep and putting everyone else's needs before your own.
In Chinese medicine, postpartum care has traditionally been given particular importance. My approach is centred around giving new mothers somewhere to pause, receive care and focus on their own recovery too.
I also offer postpartum home consultations, allowing you to receive treatment in the comfort of your own home during those early weeks.
